“The One Putt Strut” is the culmination of Glen’s life in music and golf. Written and recorded between September of 2005 and June of 2006, it is a collection of catchy, well-crafted songs covering eleven different golf topics. Whether imploring golfers to take Chevy Chases advice to “Be The Ball”, telling his own story of his annual choke in his golfing rivals tournament (The Baney Open), or dreaming of winning th U.S. Open over Tiger Woods (The Dream), his songs tell funny, memorable, real stories. Glen Everhart has been entertaining audiences all across the counry with his own unique style of musical comedy for 20 years. He was swinging a chopped off Sam Snead Blue Ridge 3 iron with his father when he was 6 years old, and played his first round of golf at the age of 11 on a par 27 nine hole course and shot 46. He’s been playing ever since, and carries an 8 handicap in spite of playing less than 10 times a year. He began playing music in public at the age of 12, picked up the guitar at age 15, and was writing songs by age 17. Performing with his guitar in the clubs in St. Cloud, MN, he worked the bars on weekends to pay for his bachellor of science degree at St. Cloud State University. Upon graduation in 1984, he taught music in Cold Spring, MN, for 3 years before becoming a full time musician and entertainer in 1988.
